We are currently looking for an Accountant in our Finance team, based in Bucharest office.

As an Accountant, you secure proper and efficient accounting and reporting for the business at the given quality level keeping all deadlines.

Your tasks will include:

Accounting

• Responsible for correctly applying Local Accounting Rules & Inter IKEA Rules on accounting and financial reporting. 

• Responsible for the accurate and timely payments to vendors and co-workers  

• Bookkeeping of bank statements 

• Accounts payables booking and monthly checking.  

• Travel expense claims booking, checking and periodical reconciliation for all the employees. 

• Track and monitor accounts payable. 

• Issue invoices. 

• Support senior accountants with month-end, year-end close and audit process. 

• As needed, assist with other accounting projects 

• Assist with internal & external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and explanations for audit inquiries. 

• Ad-hoc tasks related to bookkeeping and accounting areas 

• Being a speaking partner for various stakeholders 

• Maintain strong relation with relevant Inter IKEA departments.

Furthermore, we see that you have:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics, finance, or equivalent business background is required. 

• Good MS office skills (word, excel) 

• Knowledge of financial processes and general accounting procedures 

• Intermediate level of English 

• Good communication skills and team player attitude 

• Ability to investigative and being detail oriented. 

• Good planning and problem-solving skills and co-operate with others to achieve common goals. 

• Ability to take responsibilit 

• Well organized and structured   

• Deliver excellent results on time 

• Comfortable working with routines
