About this work area

IKEA Korea is currently looking for a replacement colleague for a period of 12 months (approx. between June 2024 to May 2025).

As a person you are passionate about people and dedicated to contributing to great candidate’s and co-worker’s experience by means of excellent recruitment and sourcing process. You act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and enjoy working with tactical and operational tasks in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.

We see that you can have a background from marketing, communication or HR with previous experience of working within the area of Employer Value Proposition (EVP) and Employer Branding (EB). If you have experience of leading projects as well as experience of translating strategies into concrete actions, it is an advantage.

Experience from Recruitment & Sourcing as well as experience within the field of communication is an advantage. You speak and write both Korean and English fluently.

Who you are

In this role your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
• Responsible for execution of all local initiatives linked to employer marketing and branding in the country including managing national partnerships with employer outlets (e.g. LinkedIn) and monitoring and leveraging internal and external employer and workforce trends to develop attraction and sourcing strategies at country level;
• Together with Centre of Expertise, lead sourcing & EVP concept, frameworks, approach and process in order to ensure successful implementation in country;
• Identifies local channels and solutions that compliment global channels to address future business needs.
• Networks with stakeholders across the country organization to proactively monitor and manage sourcing needs for today and the future.
• Contributes to a high standard of excellence within Sourcing & EVP, delivering a consistent high quality service to IKEA internal stakeholders and giving candidates an excellent experience in line with our IKEA values and brand.

To be considered for this role you must fulfil the following requirements:
• 2 years minimum experience of progressive Human Resources or 3 years minimum experience in Marketing, Communication or Employer Branding
• Experience in building and establishing employment brand plans
• Experience leading projects from planning through implementation
• Ability to influence across all levels of the organization
• Stakeholder management: very good knowledge of how to identify and involve relevant stakeholders in a project, process or question to make things happen.

In this role you will report to the Country Talent Development Manager and the role is located in Gwangmyeong, South Korea.
