We are looking to welcome a Sales Co-worker to join our amazing team at the IKEA Order & Collection Point (OCP) in Carrickmines Dublin 18.

Our store, in Carrickmines, has been designed to offer you the same great range and inspiration, with most products available to order for collection. There is also an increasing range of products available to take home today. Of course if it is more convenient, the customer can have it all delivered to their door.

• €14.80 basic hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer

Permanent 16 hour contract - working 3 weekends out of 4

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, this role will require availability to work during the day, evenings, and weekends.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
• You provide an exceptional shopping experience for our customers.
• You actively approach customers to identify their needs and advise them on the best solutions for their life at home through home furnishings.
• You are always passionate about the range and home furnishings, curious to learn the stories behind the products and their design.
• You support maximising sales by being proud of your areas of responsibility, ensuring the customer meets an area that is clean, well presented and easy to shop.
• You are competent with IT, Microsoft office, using the internet and relevant programmes to support selling to the customer.
• You will have a combination of administrative work, meeting the customer and preparing for next days delivery.
• This is a physically demanding role which involves manual handling and walking throughout the store.
