About the job

We want to fill this position with an extremely commercial and customer-focused enthusiast who shares our vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people”.   This individual must have a passion for range and supply chain and enjoys working in a fast paced, constantly changing retail environment.

Your assignment

  • You are responsible in securing consistently high and stable goods availability at the lowest possible cost by integrating supply into the retailing business.
  • You support the country commercial team in Malaysia with planning and execution of global and country activities by providing availability information, in-delivery planning and follow-up on goals to ensure activity commitments are fulfilled.
  • Contribute to the work of Flow and Capacity Planner in analyzing potential optimal replenishment solution for high volume articles and in ensuring a smooth supply matrix implementation.
  • You work closely with the store matrix (Sales and Supply Support team) to safeguard stock availability through monitoring their replenishment parameters. 
  • You provide timely and accurate supply information as well as availability analysis to support the stores’ matrix and Selling team.
  • You are responsible to ensure stores’ build up the needed stock prior to peak sales periods, supply constraints and sales activities to support stock availability at all times.
  • You also coach with your knowledge and expertise to ensure global and/or local working methods and routines are followed and implemented.

Qualification

Your profile

  • You have 2-3 years of experience in supply chain management in the retail industry. You are mature, self-motivated, meticulous and take pride in your work. Being able to focus while multi-tasking comes easily to you. You have good time management ability and are able to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a flair for engaging people at all levels, you can work independently and still are a collaborative team player who is highly passionate about the role. Your initiative, level-headedness and analytical skills often let you identify required business actions when faced with challenges.
  • Excellent computer skills and high proficiency on Microsoft Office.
