We are seeking a leader who is eager to understand the customer and co-workers' needs, demands and expectations in the market and wants to improve the business with a focus on customer satisfaction. Using your experience and knowledge within Supply Chain, (unit) operations or leading teams together with communication and collaboration skills, you create effective relationships across the organization and involve relevant stakeholders to make things happen. You are inspired by developing business through people and capable of navigating in multicultural, interdependent and matrix environments. You can easily translate business and customer needs into development initiatives. Finally, you are of course a true role model for the IKEA culture and values.

A day in your life with us

As Fulfilment Operations Manager you are;

- Responsible for securing efficiency, implementing improvements, new operational processes, technologies and ways of working throughout the operations (inbound, replenishment, outbound, services execution) to enable an excellent customer and co-worker experience.
- Responsible to secure a close cooperation and strong communication with Fulfilment Integration team, unit management team or support functions and External Transport/Service Providers, to secure the highest goods availability and customer order fulfilment at the lowest possible cost.
- Accountable to ensure that the Fulfilment Operations team works in compliance with the IKEA code of conduct, all functional relevant Standard Operating Procedures, internal IKEA regulations and local legislation related to health, safety, security, and the environment.
- Responsible for leading, coaching, developing, and inspiring a high performing Fulfilment Operations team by working closely with Fulfilment Integration team, including communication, flexibility, performance culture, competence development, succession planning, maintaining a work environment which supports equality, diversity and inclusion and well-being.
- Responsible for the implementation of the Customer Fulfilment Sustainability agenda in the assigned unit operations environment.

Customer Fulfilment (CFF) is a core function within Retail Operations and a fundamental part in making IKEA Omnichannel retailing a reality. We do this by developing and operating replenishment and fulfilment, end-to-end with a process-oriented organisation, with radical collaboration to our colleagues within Commercial, Service office and supply partners.

We deliver with a clear focus on people development and sustainable and cost-effective operations. As Fulfilment Operations Manager you are part of CFF Unit team, led by the Fulfilment Manager of the unit.

- Educated with an HBO or University degree (Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management) and 3-5 years' working experience in a management position (preferably in distribution, retail, logistics or similar).
- Available to work also during weekends, early mornings and late evenings.

What we do today, we will do a little better tomorrow. Because together we take care of people and the environment. And IKEA also takes good care of you in the meantime. Start as a Fulfillment Operations Manager and receive, based on 38 hours per week:  

A gross monthly salary between € 3,547and € 5,216 depending on your knowledge and experience. The latter amount is the maximum of the scale to which you can grow in this role.  

A 13th month and 8% holiday pay. These are paid out in December and May by default, but you can also choose to receive them monthly.

If you work before 7:00 AM and after 9:00 PM, a surcharge applies. On Sundays and public holidays, you will receive a surcharge throughout the day.

A collective bonus scheme. This is determined annually and amounts to a maximum of 150% of your gross monthly salary.

Do you live within a radius of 5 to 20 km from the IKEA branch? Then you can opt for a lease bicycle. Are you traveling by car? Then you will receive a compensation for travel costs up to a maximum of 243 euros per month.
