Additional Information:
• This role is temporary full time (fixed term contract until August 2025).
• The preferred location for the role is Service Office, Tempe NSW where hybrid working including a minimum of 3 days in the Service Office is required. However remote work from any other IKEA AU location will be considered.

Are you ready for a challenging role that allows you to shape our organisation’s future? As a Senior Recruiter, you’ll be at the forefront collaborating with Hiring Managers, People and Culture Business Partners, and cross-functional teams. Your mission is to find exceptional talent, secure an optimal candidate experience, creating IKEA ambassadors and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.



• Lead the end-to-end recruitment activities for leadership, specialist and complex roles across IKEA Australia, in alignment with our Global recruitment practices and core values to deliver an outstanding candidate experience throughout all touch points.
• Utilise global tools and diverse recruiting techniques to identify, attract, and engage top-tier and passive candidates effectively.
• Act as a talent advisor through collaborating, influencing and building relationships with Service Office Leaders, Market Managers and People & Culture Business Partners to strategically source talent that will contribute to IKEA’s business growth and vision.
• Foster relationships with talents across the business locally and globally to build talent pipelines for key positions.
• Proactively drive and deliver process improvements and innovative approaches to optimise and streamline recruitment processes.
• Build relationships with Global matrix partners through actively representing our talent team in Global forums. As an ambassador for IKEA Australia within those forums, establish and strengthen ‘test and try’, share insights and good examples and stay informed about international practices.
• Support and mentor recruiters by providing guidance, sharing best practices and collaborating on sourcing techniques, interview strategies and candidate assessments.
• Contribute and support in delivering operational excellence within the recruitment space and where required, take on responsibility to support the Recruitment Team Manager in empowering, influencing and leading the recruitment team.
